2011-06-10 Rep. Mary Kiffmeyer Speaks at Girls State
Rep. Mary Kiffmeyer was appointed an advisor to the Veteran's Affairs Committee at Girls State. Girls State is sponsored by the American Legion to educate juniors in high school on how government works with a week long interactive program. The high school juniors are sponsored by local Legion groups from around the state and the usual attendance is about 350 students.
